Madinah Hotel to Haramain Station Madinah by private taxi
Leaving Madinah is rarely easy, and it is made harder when you also have to find a car before a train. Our private taxi from your Madinah hotel to Haramain Station takes the guesswork out. You tell us the train time, we choose the pickup time, and the driver arrives at your hotel entrance when we said he would.
It suits solo pilgrims as much as large families. A couple with two cases gets a comfortable sedan, a family of seven with prams and extra bags gets an SUV or a van, and a group travelling together can bring a larger vehicle. Whatever the size, you ride alone with your own party and not as part of a shared run.
Heading to the Madinah train station
The station is about 10 km from the city centre, and the drive takes roughly 20 minutes in normal conditions. The busiest times are around the five prayers, when the streets near the Prophet’s Mosque slow right down, so we aim to leave around them where we can.
Station entrances have security screening, and bag checks can create a short queue. Arriving with time to spare takes the pressure off, and the driver stops at the entrance closest to the ticket hall so you are not dragging luggage across the car park.
Tips before you travel
- Check out of the hotel and sort the bill before the pickup time, so the driver is not kept waiting at the entrance.
- Keep your passports and train tickets in a pocket or hand bag, not in checked luggage.
- If your hotel lies within a pedestrian zone, tell us. The driver then meets you at the closest road access point.
